Drawing from roots in Irish and Scottish traditional music to influences spanning contemporary classical, jazz, electronic and experimental, Philippa Godsalve’s compositions are varied and unique.
The Clarsach (folk harp) features often in her work as a solo instrument or alongside synths and drones as a conduit for shimmering soundscapes and effects.
Philippa has a curious, intuitive and responsive approach to writing and producing music which lends itself to collaborative projects including film composing, audiovisual works, and live performance.
